Yeti uses augmented reality technology to display uploaded GPX map files as virtual off-piste routes on the screen. This provides the skier with easy-to-follow markings in order to navigate safely down the mountain. In poor visibility Yeti can switch from the live camera view to display a virtual 3D map, giving the skier a sense of their surroundings. Different routes can be chosen by scanning the immediate environment. Navigational information is provided for each route displayed.
